Dr. Mahayri has been with Superior Med since 1996. He has also been a stable presence at Southeastern Med, providing intensive care during those uncertain moments in the lives of many local residents.
Dr. Mahayri splits his time performing the vital role of serving patients in his pulmonary practice, and serving in three capacities of medical supervision at Southeastern Med: Director of Adult Intensive Care Unit, Director of Respiratory Services and Pulmonary Lab, and Director of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program.
Also for more than ten years, Dr. Mahayri has been interpreting sleep studies across Southeastern Ohio for patient suffering from sleep apnea and other Sleep Medicine ailments, and serving as Director of Sleep Disorders Laboratory at Southeastern Med.
Dr. Mahayri graduated in 1985 from Bucharest University, Romania. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at Michigan State University. He then completed his fellowship in 1996 in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at University of Nebraska Medical Center.
