Dr. Kumler is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a certificate of added qualification in Sports Medicine. At Southeastern Med and Superior Med, he helps patients of all ages devise an orthopedic care plan that optimizes their musculoskeletal health.
A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Kumler completed an internship at Mount Carmel Medical Center and residencies at the George Washington University and Children’s National Medical Center. He also served as an instructor for orthopedic residents and medical students at Mount Carmel Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH.

He is a fellow of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and has been active in local and national professional organizations, including:

- Ohio State Medical Association
- Kentucky Medical Association
- American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Prior to coming to Southeastern Med, Dr. Kumler was with the Meadowview Orthopedic Care Center in Maysville, KY.
